National Bean Pole Week.

The British Beanpole Campaign was set up over 10 years ago to help gardeners source and use local beanpoles, pea sticks and rustic poles.

The idea is promote environmentally-friendly gardening and the wider use of local wood products.

The food miles campaigns have made people more questioning about details of their lifestyles.  This questioning also needs to include other products, and not just focus on food.  What better way to promote it than what is supporting your beans as they start to grow!!!

There will be a wide range of wood products for sale at the open day, not just for the garden.
